I am embarking on my research for a project that I’m calling Dream Coffins (for Tired Negroes)… There will be more to share soon, but this moment feels like the perfect time to create space for Black Americans—and the representations of Black Americans—to experience quiet, rest, joy, and connection with one another and our ancestors.
